Despite her constant bantering about wanting to know what you do every second of the day, she really doesn’t.
The attraction / rapport paradox must always be considered when determining the net benefit of any of your actions.
If you’re texting your girlfriend every hour of the day, she might feel more “secure” in your relationship,
But you’ll notice a sharp decline in her interest level (most noticeably, the amount of sex you’re getting).
If you keep her in the dark and feed her shit all the time, she might be convinced you’re cheating on her and attempt to kill you.
So how much about your everyday life should your girlfriend know?
She should know enough about what you’re doing throughout the day so that there is always a slight, minuscule possibility
That you MIGHT in fact, be Batman. If she wants to know less (she doesn’t text you or reciprocate communication), then you follow in suit.
If she wants to know more, you’re doing fine. If she REALLY wants to know more (nagging you all day), then she either has low esteem (NEXT),
Her interest level is dropping (withdraw or NEXT), or you’re pushing the jerk persona too hard (Yes, you’re going to have to figure out which one it is).
Seriously, if you follow this rule, you’ll build enough rapport for trust, romance, & love, but still maintain enough absence and mystery for attraction.
Ideally, if you actually ARE batman, or some type of crime-fighting vigilante, then you shouldn’t have much of a problem maintaining
Attraction / mystery in your relationship. Although I imagine trust might be an issue.
