If you had to synthesize the science behind the Alpha Male into one word within the context of evolution and biomechanics, what would it be?

The answer is simple, but I doubt anyone will get it.

I suspect the top answers are going to be “confidence,” “leadership,” or something of the sort.

Scroll down once you have your word.

The correct, and far more obvious answer, is...

Adaptability.

The Alpha Male has been the corner stone to the propagation and development of his respective species.

The question is not of dominance, but of survival.

Whichever male has the highest chance to succeed in his environment is the crowning achievement of his phenotype.

So then why is abstract advice like “get out of your comfort zone” given to the rebounding AFC (average frustrated chump)?

Because qualities like leadership and confidence are derived from adaptability.

The abstractness comes from the world around you, a socially adaptive world far different from the physically challenging one our evolution has normally catered to.

There are no bears or lions to fight, now you’re adapting to a socio-economic milieu and how do women gauge your adaptability in a metropolonized world?

Through abstract qualities, like confidence.

They assume that if you believe in yourself, that if you entertain that solar level of fearless ambition, that you must in return, be a man of high reproductive value.

Your body language, the things you say, what you do, how you carry yourself, how much money you make, how many other women want to date you, these are all indicators of your value and something women are incisively aware of.

The more shit you go through in life, the more Alpha you become, point-blank. I quote another reader, No-Spoon, on the essence of game:

Take a man and wring him out, beat him senseless, break him down, invoke a near death experience, show him his own blood, let him know that his days are numbered, that life is a gift, and cause him to suddenly know that he is alive. Now, show him an attractive woman.

Will he approach her with a qualifying mentality?

Will he beat around the bush with negs and bullshit trying to spark attraction?

Will he second guess whether he is good-looking enough?

Will he be concerned with what other surrounding people might think of his bold move?

No. He will approach with the feeling that he has experienced ‘some shit’.

That he is entitled.

That he now fully grasps that he will die someday.

What has changed in him?

He has been taken back to a primal state of mind.

Overt communication no longer occurs to him because it doesn’t exist.

He now acutely senses that his attention is to be valued and not taken for granted because his time is limited.

In this unshakable state, the woman has no choice but feel this vibration emanating from his rock-solid core. It is authentic.

The essence of game, I believe.

The cancer presents itself as a perplexing problem; a hunger for stability, routine, and security, that once satiated, causes the bearer to realize the appetite had caused the very disease it sought to allay.

The opposite must be accomplished.

Afraid to do something?

Do it.

Uncomfortable speaking on stage?

Speak on stage.

Scared to talk to a girl?

Talk to her.

Make a list of things you’ve always wanted to learn.

A language, an instrument, how to dance, anything. And then for once, move beyond a list of things to do, to doing them.

Talk to strangers, homeless people, anyone.

Make new friends, be with new people.

Whenever you meet somebody new, you always get something from their personality.

Whether it’s a bit of their humor, or their style of conversation, they will make an impression on you, in turn, evolving your own personality.

Stop fapping and meet a girl. Get hit by her boyfriend for getting her phone number.

Get your heart broken. Get dumped. Get bored of.

Read.

An interesting man is an interested man.

And don’t just read Harry Potter, read the newspaper, read scholastic magazines, read classic novels, philosophy, science journals, everything.

Change up things in your life. From music, to the tv shows you watch, to your workout routine. Change is good, challenge is even better.
